Captain Ted's Top 16 Reasons to Trek to Truk

The Wreck Diving Capital of the World:

On his second visit to Truk Lagoon, Captain Ted realized that diving the wrecks of Truk Lagoon was like diving the Super Bowl of Wreck Diving! Between the wrecks, reefs, undersea life, and the exotic locale, Captain Ted knew that Truk Lagoon had to become a regular destination for Sea Dwellers of NJ.

After visiting and living with the Chuukese, Captain Ted has learned what wrecks to dive, and who to dive with, what islands to explore and where to rest that weary diver's head when you are not diving.

So without further ado... Captain Ted presents his Top 16 Reasons to Dive Truk Lagoon:

  • A possibility of diving 5 wrecks a day
  • Visibility over 100 feet
  • Fabulous Video and Photo opportunities
  • Shallow wrecks for the less experienced wreck divers
  • Deep wrecks and decompression diving, if you wish
  • Deep penetrations inside huge World War II Wrecks
  • History of WWII and artifacts to support this history, right before your eyes

  • Clean, large hotel rooms (Truk Stop)
  • Friendly dive guides and boat drivers willing to service every divers needs
