Cory

It is very interesting where life takes you. I started out working in the construction business operating heavy equipment and then finding myself going to school to be hospitality major. Before you knew it I was working on my Masters Degree in International Business, working full time, and running a small catering business on the side. I have always been interested in cooking and have been cooking in the kitchens of the East Coast all the way out to Napa Valley Wine Fields of California. Traveling has always been an interest for me so after traveling the states I came back to the East Coast to open my own Off Premise Catering Business. During this time I became a certified scuba diver and started traveling in the under water world. Before I knew it, I was taking classes upon class's working my way up to instructors. I started working for Sea Dwellers part time and also provided my cooking skills onboard Ol' Salty II and the Ocean Explorer. Soon, I was providing lunches for the East Coast divers and then going to the tropics to be the chef on the Ocean Explorer live-a-board boat. Cruising through the Exuma Islands and watching all the dolphins jump in our wakes, taking pictures of the underwater world what more could one want. So, after five years of working part time for Sea Dwellers and running A' la Carte Catering full time, I decided to sell the business and now work at Sea Dwellers full time.

Having enjoyed the passion for diving so much that I wanted to pass the adventure on to others. I have worked my way up to instructor in order to do this. There is nothing more satisfying than watching someone smiling from ear to ear after witnessing the amazing under water world. Along the way I have earned many other certifications. Breathing Nitrox and instructing the use of Nitrox makes my certified divers much safer under water. Experiencing the use of a Semi-Closed Nitrox Rebreather allows me to enjoy my amateur under water photography hobby. The silence of the Rebreather allows me to sneak up on the unique marine life that are my subjects. All these experiences help me to be a well rounded Instructor and Diver. I love to travel and experience adventure, so join me on my next underwater adventure.

Sea ya under water,
Cory
